The Eltham College Choral Society starts up in January each year and rehearses weekly during the Lent Term, culminating in an annual concert early in the Summer Term. In 2017, we are delighted to confirm that we will be returning to London’s prestigious Cadogan Hall to present an Opera Gala Evening in conjunction with the Chartwell Cancer Trust.
Singers of any age or standard are warmly welcome in the Choral Society for rehearsals and the performance. There are no auditions: all that is required is enthusiasm and commitment. Rehearsal times are usually Wednesday evenings during term-time from 7.30-9.00pm in King George’s Hall (also known as the Dining Hall). Whilst it is hoped that Choral Society members will be able to make all rehearsals, it is expected that they should attend at least nine of the rehearsals as well as the rehearsal on the day of the concert.
Subscriptions (to cover the costs of our accompanist and all administration) are currently £40 per person. If you would like to join the Choral Society or would like any further information, please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org
