School Lunches
A good diet is important for good health and can help to maintain a healthy body weight, enhance general well-being and reduce the risks of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and other diseases. A healthy diet is also essential in ensuring that pupils perform to their full potential during the school day (both academically and physically) and for their growth and development.

Our aim at Eltham College is to help pupils establish a healthy lifestyle that, we hope, will continue into adulthood, via a combination of education through the curriculum and quality of food available on the menu during the school day.

Eltham College is fully committed to a planned programme of healthy eating. We believe that this should be achieved by a good healthy diet and regular exercise. Eltham College place great emphasis on a well-balanced diet, we prefer to make our own meals on the premises from fresh ingredients.
