|The academic success of the pupils at Eltham College is underpinned by the promotion of a positive work ethic, combined with high expectations.|
One of the main aims of Eltham College is to fully equip our pupils for the challenges of their life ahead. In most cases that involves achieving high grades at A level and moving on to study at a top university.
However it is equally important to develop the learning skills that can be transferred to any situation that an Old Elthamian may find him or herself in.
We try to promote a genuine desire to learn and explore situations above and beyond the constraints of any syllabus.
Opportunities to develop self-discipline, organisation, communication and leadership skills are many and varied both within and outside the curriculum.
The curriculum itself provides a breadth of opportunity from the word go, with some specialism at GCSE or IGCSE followed by the opportunity in the Sixth Form to explore favoured subjects to A level and beyond.
Our teaching staff are well qualified, experienced and committed, delivering both the curriculum and a wide range of activities to support their subjects.
