    Handling Stress

    The key to handling examination stress is in understanding the process and avoiding worry.  It is thought that stress reduces mental capabilities and is counter-productive - pupils should be confident in their abilities. If relaxed, the conscious and subconscious parts of the mind interact better, reducing the risk of freezing up or making mistakes.
