Welcome to the Junior School
Based on the same site in South East London as Eltham College, our Junior School offers a unique environment in which boys are genuinely valued as individuals and challenged both inside and outside the classroom.

Eltham College Junior School takes boys from the age of seven to eleven in Years 3 to 6. Pupils join us from many different prep and infant schools.

As an academically selected group the boys can all be accelerated in their learning, often working well ahead of national curriculum expectations. Almost all boys progress seamlessly through to the Senior School without the need to take the entrance examination.

Excellence is also pursued outside the classroom whether on the sports field, stage or concert hall. In recent years we have had rugby teams with 100% wins, trebles singing at world famous venues and actors earning hosts of awards at local festivals.

Specialist coaching brings out the latent ability but this is not at the expense of inclusion where boys of differing talents can still play, sing and act for the school regularly.

There is a tremendous sense of fun, energy and involvement at the school and we are a positive and caring community where values matter – something borne from our Christian foundations. Boys being successful and enjoying themselves is what we strive for.

We hope you will enjoy finding out more about our school; we are very proud of it.
