Candidates will sit entrance papers in English and Mathematics, as well as sitting a computer adaptive verbal and non-verbal reasoning assessment. All candidates will sit their exams and be interviewed on the same day. During the assessment day candidates will also have the opportunity to sample some of the many activities on offer at Eltham College.
Towards the end of the Michaelmas Term and the early part of Lent Term registered candidates will be invited to attend an afternoon of lessons. This will give us an opportunity to assess their aptitude for our teaching and learning style and for them to get a real taste of what it is like to be a student at Eltham College.
Students who are accepted for entry to Year 7 are able to proceed through to the Sixth Form without the need for further assessment. However all students wishing to study A levels are required to meet the minimum entry of six GCSE subjects at grade 7 or higher.
