Applying for Medicine Conference

Date: 14 June 2018 Category: Academic

At Eltham College we are committed to building a career learning programme that meets the individual needs of our students at all educational key stages. With this in mind, we are delighted to be hosting our inaugural ‘Applying for Medicine’ conference later this week, in partnership with the University of Leicester Medical School.

Alongside Professor Holland, Dean of the Medical School, the afternoon will be facilitated by the University Outreach Team, current medical students and a number of OEs who are either still studying medicine, or in the early stages of the medical career. With around 70 aspiring medics due to attend, from both Eltham College and a number of local schools, it promises to be a fantastic afternoon during which students will learn more about the application process and requirements for entry, as well as alternatives to medicine degrees. In addition, there will be an opportunity to participate in a number of interactive MMI (Multiple Mini Interview) assessments, including role play and mock interviews.

Location: Antony Barnard Theatre

Time: 1.30pm-4.30pm
