Junior School Year 3 Netball and Rugby Tournament

The youngest students at the Junior School took part in competitive House Netball and House Rugby this afternoon.

Over 30 girls took part in House Netball played for the first time in Year 3.  The girls practised ball skills, played netball relays and ended the session with a shooting game.

The boys spent the afternoon practising passing, balls skills and played a mini league tournament.  Vikki Meier, Head of the Junior School commented, “I am proud of such enthusiasm and determination shown by our youngest students.  It has been lovely to see the children enjoy themselves and have a fun afternoon.”

The afternoon ended with trophy’s being awarded to the winning Houses.  Livingstone took the House Cup in Netball and Chalmers took the House Cup in Football.
