Meet the teachers – Isabelle Tyner

Isabelle Tyner recently joined Eltham College as the Director in Residence for Drama.  Isabelle studied Drama and Theatre at Chichester University and graduated during the pandemic. She then spent a year working at Darrick Wood Secondary school as a teaching assistant before being accepted for an MA at RADA and Birkbeck university for a joint degree in Text and Performance.

Isabelle has won the Best Student Film award at London Rocks Film Festival for her dissertation short film called, Can The Moon Walk Me Home?, as well as receiving a distinction for it. The film focuses on women’s safety and grief and is being released early next year.

Isabelle says: “I love how extra-curricular drama projects at Eltham brings passionate and talented students together from all year groups and coming back after being a student myself has been a delight!”
