OE Jonathan Bostock (2018) wins a gold medal at the 50th International Chemistry Olympiad

OE Jonathan Bostock (2018) recently represented Great Britain at the 50th International Chemistry Olympiad and won a gold medal. Jonathan was selected from 30 other participants as one of the teams of four to represent the UK in the international final. He spent ten days in Slovakia and the Czech Republic competing against the world’s most talented Sixth Form Chemistry students.

The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is an annual competition for the world’s most talented chemistry students at the secondary school level. Preparation for the International Chemistry Olympiad demands a high level of understanding and interest in chemistry and an outstanding ability to relate chemical subjects with one another as well as with the practical world.
