Oxbridge Event 2020

Unfortunately, the current school closure due to Covid 19 restrictions has meant the Oxbridge Evening planned for 5 May has been cancelled. Nevertheless, we are committed to ensuring that aspiring applicants to Oxford and Cambridge can still hear from the amazing contributors we had invited to the event, as well as access a wide range of online resources and useful information. As a result, you are invited to visit our virtual Oxbridge Event on the school YouTube channel, where you’ll hear from both Oxford and Cambridge universities, as well as current students and OEs who are at various stages of their Oxbridge journey. In addition, we are also planning a live on-line Q&A session for students with our Oxbridge team, university Admissions staff and Oxbridge alumni, details of which will follow.

Ultimately, regardless of the lockdown, the aim of our virtual event is to provide you with a greater understanding of what it means to apply for, and study at, Oxford and Cambridge.

We hope our contributors leave you better informed about the Oxbridge journey, including the necessary academic credentials, approach to learning and commitment required for a successful application. Remember, this additional time at home provides the ideal opportunity for you to really explore your options and engage with your chosen degree subject at a deeper level, which when it comes to an Oxbridge application, puts you in a very strong position indeed!
