Support Eltham College

Eltham College would not be the place it is today without philanthropy playing a leading role in all that we do. Since its foundation in 1842, the College has been committed to providing not only excellent facilities where students can learn and flourish but also an educational environment for all young people regardless of financial circumstances. We remain committed to these objectives today and hope that you consider supporting us in our ambition to make Eltham College a leading London school.

Support Eltham College

There are many ways you can support Eltham College. We have a small number of funds such as Arts & Culture or Sports & Outdoor Pursuits which enrich our wide ranging co-curricular programmes and student pursuits in these areas.

We also have our ever-important Bursary Fund which allows us to make Eltham College a home for all young people regardless of financial circumstances. Eltham College has a rich history of financially supporting students and families, which stretches back to its foundation 180 years ago and remains just as important today.

Make an Online Donation

There are many ways to make a donation to the College, you can choose a one-off gift or a regular donation. Any funds provided are ring fenced to support bursaries or other transformational projects across the school. In 2021, the College embarked on a phased campaign to remodel the current science block. Thanks to major donors, five new labs have been refurbished already. Regular donations make a substantial contribution towards ensuring these labs are completed with cutting edge technology and equipment for students.

As well as regular donations or one-off gifts, you can support us through company or payroll giving, gifting shares and employer matching schemes.

Leave a Legacy

The success of Eltham College today is testimony to the support of its former generations. Our vision is to enhance our long-standing tradition of being a welcome home for all. To be fully inclusive and work towards equity in education, we want to increase the number of 100 – 110 percent bursaries we offer. Things such as uniform, transport, extra-curricular activities and food costs can all be barriers for students attending the College. We want to completely remove this burden from families and ensure bursary students have all the same opportunities as their peers. The benefits of bursary awards extend beyond those who receive them; they enrich the whole College by enhancing its intellectual and social diversity.

Our goal for the future is to establish a bursary endowment which overtime will grow to provide bursary places in perpetuity. This is an ambitious objective for the College and it will not be possible without your help. Like many who enjoyed bursaries here in the past, we

want future generations to benefit from the same opportunities. By including a gift to the College in your Will, you can help to shape the future of the College and the deserving students who attend
